We are pleased to announce the publication of the first crossword puzzle dictionary in the American Heritage® dictionary line. This book provides the answers to thousands of crossword puzzle clues. It features over 230,000 words, including 15,000 proper names for people, places, plants, animals, events, and many other things. Each alphabetical entry contains lists of synonyms or names arranged by the number of letters in each word, making it easy to find the solution to even the most exasperating crossword clue.
